01What is the GTA VI release date?
The currently announced date is . Rockstar lists the date here .
02What platforms is GTA VI launching on?
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are the platforms listed by Rockstar. A PC release date is not listed in the official sources checked on September 17, 2026.
03Is this an official Rockstar website?
No. This is an independent, fan-made countdown. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
04How does the countdown work?
It subtracts your device’s current time from the configured target on each tick. It recalculates when you return to the tab, so a sleeping browser does not make it drift. A wrong device clock will affect the result.
05What timezone does the countdown use?
The target is midnight UTC at the start of November 19, 2026. This is a site convention, not a confirmed worldwide unlock time. Everyone sees the same remaining duration. Read the timezone explanation.
06What happens if the release date changes?
The maintainer checks Rockstar or Take-Two, updates the target and factual pages, and records the change. There is no automatic news feed. Check the verification date before relying on the countdown.
07What happens when the clock reaches zero?
It stops at zero and changes to “IT’S TIME.” The target and historical timeline stay available. That transition only means this clock’s chosen cutoff has passed, not that the game is available in every region.
08Why does “waiting since” start in December 2023?
The formal GTA VI reveal press release is dated December 4, 2023. The optional day total counts UTC calendar days from that date, not from an exact trailer publication time. Read the announcement .
09Do you track visitors?
The site adds no analytics, cookies, advertising, forms or browser storage. All countdown calculations happen on your device. Cloudflare serves the files and may process ordinary connection and security logs. Privacy details.
